The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is turning to the country’s IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) sector for guidance ahead of the Federal Budget 2026–27. The board is inviting companies and industry bodies to submit proposals that could shape policies supporting Pakistan’s digital economy.
PSEB said input from the industry is crucial for creating a budget that boosts IT exports, strengthens digital infrastructure, and makes doing business easier. The board stressed that collaborative planning can help resolve long-standing challenges for tech firms and ensure fiscal measures drive meaningful digital transformation.
Industry stakeholders, including companies and associations, are asked to submit practical proposals that can be implemented nationwide. PSEB highlighted that suggestions should focus on incentives for investment, innovation, and ecosystem expansion.
All submissions must be sent by 16 December 2025. The board urged full participation to ensure the tech sector’s priorities are effectively reflected in the upcoming federal budget.
