The Bangladesh Cricket Board has officially extended the No Objection Certificates of Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam, allowing their participation in Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches.
The extension was confirmed until April 13th, 2026, ensuring both players remain eligible for selection during the ongoing tournament without interruption to their commitments.
Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi requested BCB President Nazmul Hassan to approve the extension, securing the availability of both players for upcoming fixtures.
Following the decision, Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam will be available for selection in the scheduled game against Multan Sultans during the competition.
Both cricketers are scheduled to depart the Pakistan Super League on 13 April to join the Bangladesh national team for their upcoming home white-ball series.
The departures occur while the franchise maintains an undefeated record in the tournament following a fantastic victory over Lahore Qalandars at the National Bank Stadium.
Peshawar Zalmi currently lead the standings after securing four wins from five matches while their encounter against Islamabad United was abandoned due to a wet outfield.
Their recent historic victory featured a massive second wicket partnership of one hundred ninety one runs between Kusal Mendis and the prolific captain Babar Azam.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mustafizur Rahman, Rishad Hossain, Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Tamim returned to Bangladesh for the white-ball series against New Zealand.
The former champions are in supreme form and will face Multan Sultans in their next game at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
