The Punjab Police has announced 371 job openings in the Murree district, with recruitment set to begin later this month.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Rao Abdul Karim, approved the hiring process, marking the end of a recruitment freeze that had been in place since May 2025.
Recruitment Schedule Announced
According to officials, the recruitment process will start on March 31, while the final merit list will be displayed on April 15 after completion of all stages.
District Police Officer (DPO) Murree, Dr Mohammad Raza Tanveer, said the entire process will be conducted on strict merit and transparency.
Applicants have been directed to report at 6:00 am at Bahria Town Rawalpindi, Phase 8, Fatima Jinnah Junction on their assigned dates.
Multi-Stage Selection Process
Authorities will conduct the physical and screening phase from March 31 to April 3, which will include:
- Height and chest measurements
- Running tests
- Driving tests
The recruitment will then proceed as follows:
- Review Board: April 4–5
- Written Exams & Results: April 9–10
- Interviews: April 11–14
- Final Merit List: April 15
Officials emphasized that candidates using political influence, recommendations, or unfair means will be disqualified immediately.
The move is part of broader efforts to strengthen policing capacity in Murree and ensure improved law enforcement services in the region.
