Punjab Board Announces 2026 Diploma Exams Schedule

The Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) has announced the schedule for the First Annual Examinations 2026 for a range of diploma programs. The schedule covers the Diploma of Associate Engineer, including the Sino-Pak Dual Diploma, as well as diplomas in Dress Designing and Dress Making, and City & Guilds programs.

According to the official notification, practical examinations for second, third, and fourth-year students will begin on April 16, 2026, while theory exams for all years are scheduled to start on June 29, 2026.

The board also released deadlines for submitting examination forms. Candidates can submit forms with a single fee until March 11, with a double fee until March 18, and with a triple fee until March 27. Following this, forms under hardship cases may be accepted until April 7, subject to a daily fine of Rs500. No applications will be entertained beyond the final deadline.

Special provisions have been made for students appearing under the Golden Chance category. They can submit their examination fees until March 27, while hardship cases for Golden Chance candidates will also be accepted until April 7, with the same daily fine applied.

The examination schedule has been issued under the directives of PBTE Chairman Dr. Faisal Mahmood and Controller of Examinations Irfan Qasim Malik. The notification has been circulated to all affiliated institutions to ensure students are informed in time.
