Punjab Boards

The Punjab Board has released an updated schedule for Intermediate Part One admissions, giving students a final window to submit applications. Students can apply with the single fee until December 12, while those applying late can submit their forms with an additional fee from December 13 to 22.

The announcement comes after five days of the admission period have already passed, leaving students only a few working days to complete the process, according to educators.

Teachers noted that after accounting for bank holidays, students effectively have only four working days to complete their admissions. Parents have expressed concerns over paying the single fee amid rising inflation, warning that double or triple late fees may cause financial strain.

Several parents have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to intervene and ease the difficulties, emphasizing the need for a fair and accessible admission process.

The Punjab Board issued the notification on December 5, setting clear deadlines for on-time and late submissions. The board has urged students and parents to comply promptly to avoid unnecessary penalties.
