The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has officially extended the first-year admission deadlines. This extension applies to the 2026 to 2028 academic session. The committee issued this revised schedule yesterday, October 9, 2026. Therefore, students now have additional time to submit their applications.
Previously, the deadline for submitting admission forms without a late fee was October 5. Now, the committee has pushed this date to October 12, 2026. Consequently, Punjab students can submit their first-year admission applications without extra charges for a few more days.
Furthermore, the committee also adjusted the late submission timeline. Students can now submit their forms with a late fee until October 27. Previously, this final cutoff date was October 20.
The late submission fee remains set at Rs 600. Additionally, the committee addressed the issue of previous payments. Some students already paid the late fee under the old schedule. As a result, these students will receive a full refund. The respective educational boards will process and return these funds directly.
