Punjab CM Laptop Scheme 2025 Closes Grievance Process with Students Awaiting Merit List and Laptop Distribution

LAHORE: The Punjab Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025 has concluded its grievance redressal process, and students are now awaiting the official merit list. Over 93,000 students from government universities across Punjab submitted applications for the scheme before the March 18, 2025, deadline.
The objective of this initiative is to provide 110,000 technological laptops to students who are enrolled in their first or second semester of a Bachelor of Science (BS) program and fulfill the eligibility criteria. Eligible applicants include students from public sector universities, government colleges, and medical and dental colleges. Notably, students from private institutions were not eligible to apply.
The primary objective of this initiative is to empower young individuals residing in Punjab by providing support for educational expansion, digital technology access, and skill-building programs. After the announcement of the Phase IV and V merit lists, students can authenticate their status through their personal accounts on the official CM Laptop Scheme website.
Once the merit lists have been finalized, the laptop distribution procedure will commence. This program is expected to significantly enhance digital access for students and support their academic journeys with state-of-the-art technological resources.
