Punjab has extended the admission dates for the SSC First Annual Exams 2026, giving students more time to submit their forms after many institutions requested relaxation. The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) issued the revised schedule through an official notification on November 26, 2025.
The extension comes as schools and parents reported delays in document preparation and fee submission due to winter schedules and administrative load. PBCC officials said the decision was taken to ensure no student is left out due to deadline pressures. An official noted,
“The extension will help thousands of students who were struggling to meet the previous cutoff dates.”
Under the updated schedule, students can now submit their matric exam admission forms with a single fee until December 10, instead of November 27. The double fee deadline has been moved to December 23, while the triple fee deadline is now January 6, 2026. All Punjab educational boards have been directed to implement the revised dates immediately.
The PBCC also confirmed that the SSC Part II (1st Annual) Examination 2026 will begin on March 3, 2026, and all boards have received instructions to finalize exam arrangements accordingly. Officials say the updated timeline ensures smoother exam planning and prevents unnecessary rush during the winter break.
