Punjab Government Schools to Resume Classes from January 19

Published by

All government schools in Punjab will reopen and resume normal operations starting Monday, January 19. The School Education Department issued a formal notification on Saturday, giving schools time to prepare for the reopening.

According to the notification, CEOs of Education have been directed to ensure full compliance with the orders. Strict monitoring will be carried out, and officials warned that action will be taken against anyone who fails to follow the instructions.

The decision comes after months of closures that disrupted learning, affecting students across the province. Authorities emphasized that schools must be fully functional and ready to provide education safely from the stated date.
