Rules, processes, and eligibility requirements for the project were the main topics of discussion at the meeting, which was attended by Parliamentary Secretary for Higher Education Ajmal Chandio and Secretary of the Higher Education Department (HED) Dr. Farrukh Naveed.

Officials were told to speed up the process and set times for the online application portal launch, application review, and the release of the merit list.

Eligibility Requirements

As per the announced criteria, laptops will be distributed to first-year and second-year students under the program. To qualify:

  • BS students must have secured at least 65% in their intermediate exams.
  • Medical students must have achieved a minimum of 80%.
