The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has launched an online teacher training program during the summer vacations aimed at improving teaching standards across its partner schools.
According to PEF officials, the Teachers Development Program will begin on July 1 and will be conducted entirely online. The initiative is designed to equip teachers with modern teaching methodologies and enhance their professional skills.
Under the program, each PEF partner school is required to register at least two teachers for training. Upon completion, selected participants will be designated as master trainers, who will then train other teachers within their respective schools.
PEF officials stated that the initiative aims to strengthen instructional capabilities, promote continuous professional development, and improve the overall quality of education across partner schools in Punjab.
They added that the program reflects the foundation’s ongoing commitment to digital learning and the adoption of modern educational practices to improve teaching outcomes.
