The Punjab School Education Department has issued an updated schedule for the ongoing recruitment of School Teacher Interns (STIs), highlighting important dates for merit lists, interviews, objections, and final appointments. The revised timeline aims to ensure transparency and allow candidates to track their progress clearly.
The initial merit list will be displayed on school notice boards on December 3, giving candidates the opportunity to review their ranking and prepare for the next steps in the recruitment process.
Candidates wishing to raise concerns can do so at the tehsil level on December 4 and 5. Officials will carefully assess each objection to maintain fairness and transparency in the recruitment process.
Shortlisted applicants will appear for interviews on December 6 and 7. During this stage, authorities will evaluate candidates’ qualifications, teaching aptitude, and suitability for school teaching positions across Punjab.
The final merit list will be published on December 8, available both on school notice boards and the official STI online portal for easy access. Appointment orders for successful candidates will be issued via the online portal on December 9, marking the completion of the recruitment process.
Officials have urged all candidates, school heads, and staff to strictly follow the announced schedule to ensure a smooth and orderly recruitment process.
“This revised timeline reflects our commitment to transparency and merit based selection,” an official said.
