The Realme 16x has started to appear in official records, confirming its arrival is near. The device was first spotted in a leak late last month. Now, it has received certification from India’s BIS, which confirms the phone is real and heading to the market soon. The handset carries the model number RMX5270.
Although the BIS listing confirms its existence, it does not reveal any specifications. However, earlier leaks have already shared some key details. According to those reports, the Realme 16x will come in two color options, Endurance Brown and Glory White. These finishes suggest the company is focusing on a clean and modern design.
In addition, the phone is expected to launch in three memory and storage variants. Users will get 4GB RAM with 128GB storage as the base option. There will also be a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version. For those who need more space, a 6GB RAM with 256GB storage variant will also be available. This range gives buyers flexibility based on their usage needs.
As the name suggests, the Realme 16x will succeed the Realme 15x. The earlier model was launched in India in October. Therefore, the new version is likely to bring upgrades, although exact improvements are still unknown.
Meanwhile, the Realme 16x will become part of the growing Realme 16 lineup. The company has already released the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, and Realme 16 Pro+. With this addition, Realme continues to expand its mid-range smartphone portfolio. More details are expected soon, especially regarding specifications and pricing.
