Realme GT 7 Design and Features Unveiled Ahead of Launch: Here’s All We Know

Realme has officially unveiled the design, colour variants, and key specifications of its upcoming flagship, the GT 7, ahead of its scheduled launch in China on April 23. The handset is expected to arrive as the successor to the Realme GT 6 and as a companion to the Realme GT 7 Pro, which was introduced in November 2024.

The Realme GT 7 will be available in three colour variants: Graphene Ice (Blue), Graphene Snow (White), and Graphene Night (Black).The handset features a flat frame and a graphene-coated fibreglass back panel, which the company claims is designed to improve heat dissipation.

The rear of the device is equipped with a rectangular camera module that is adorned with two sensors and a ring-shaped LED light. The module is incorporated into a dual-tone black design. The power button and volume toggle are located on the right side of the phone, while the bottom edge features a combination of a microphone and speaker grille, as well as a USB Type-C connector.

The Realme officials have announced that the device will be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ chipset from MediaTek. The device may be available with up to 16GB of memory, as indicated by a Geekbench list. The device scored 2,300 (single-core) and 7,651 (multi-core).

In addition to multiple fast-charging standards, the GT 7 will feature a 7,200mAh battery that is capable of 100W wired rapid charging and bypass charging.  The device’s dimensions are not impacted by its substantial battery capacity, as it weighs 203 grammes and has a thickness of 8.25mm.

The front-facing camera is positioned through a hole-punch in the centre of the BOE display panel, which has a planar design and a 1.3mm boundary thickness.  The refresh rate of the screen is 144Hz, and it incorporates eye protection features, thereby replacing the previous 120Hz refresh rate. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is also embedded in the display.

Expected Pricing and Availability

The Realme GT 7 is anticipated to be released in China at a competitive price of under CNY 3,000 (approximately PKR 114,645). Official pricing and availability information for Pakistan has not yet been disclosed.
