Realme GT 8 Pro Set for Global Debut Next Month
Realme is preparing to launch its flagship GT 8 Pro globally next month, marking the international debut of one of its most advanced smartphones yet. The device was first introduced in China alongside the standard GT 8, but only the Pro variant is expected to reach global markets.
The Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it among the most powerful Android phones of 2025. It features a massive 7,000 mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting performance, and a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.
For photography, Realme has partnered with Ricoh to deliver its first-ever Ricoh-tuned camera system. The setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter.
Another standout feature is the modular camera island bezel, which allows users to replace modules for customization. The device also boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering excellent protection against dust and water.
It’s still unclear whether the global variant will retain all the same specifications as the Chinese model. However, more details are expected soon as Realme gears up for the official unveiling.
