Realme Neo8

Realme has confirmed that the Neo8 will launch this month, and the company has already shared its rear design and core chipset. The brand says the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, which puts it in the flagship tier. That early reveal has now been backed by a fresh Geekbench listing, which gives us a clearer look at what to expect from the device.

The Realme Neo8 appears on Geekbench with the model number RMX8899. In Geekbench 6.5, it scored 2,876 in the single-core test and 9,245 in the multicore test. As always, early benchmark numbers should be taken with care, since the final software can change performance. Still, the listing lines up with what Realme has already shared about the chipset.

The database confirms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and also shows a version with 16GB of RAM. It also reveals that the phone will ship with Android 16 from day one. That puts the Neo8 among the first phones expected to run the new Android version out of the box.

Leaks from earlier reports point to a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster speeds. On the camera side, it is tipped to feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 16MP front camera for selfies.

The Neo8 is also expected to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a metal frame. In addition, it may offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Power could come from a massive 8,000 mAh battery, along with support for 80W wired charging, which should help keep downtime low.
