Realme will lift the curtain on the Neo 8 on January 22, and the company has already shared how the phone will look. Buyers will get three finishes that translate from Chinese as Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White. Each color brings a sharp, clean style that fits the Neo brand’s bold image.
The Realme Neo 8 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, which places it in the top tier of Android phones. It also uses a Samsung AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, so outdoor use should stay clear and sharp.
On the front, the phone carries a 16MP selfie camera. It also includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which should offer faster and more secure unlocking than older optical scanners. These features aim to give users both speed and ease of use.
According to the leaks and certifications, now add more depth to the hardware story. The Realme Neo 8 is expected to ship with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. That much memory and space make it suitable for heavy apps, gaming, and large media files.
The camera setup also looks strong. Reports point to a 50MP main camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. Alongside them sits an 8MP ultrawide camera. This mix should give users more range when shooting photos and videos.
Powering all of this is said to be an 8,000 mAh battery, which is large even by modern standards. It supports 80W wired charging, so the phone should fill up much faster than most devices with similar battery sizes.
