nubia has confirmed that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will launch in October. The gaming flagship will succeed the RedMagic 11 Pro+, which debuted in October last year. The company shared the first details about the upcoming phone in a post on Weibo. It also showed several design changes compared with the previous model.
According to nubia, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will offer a better in-hand feel. The phone will be lighter and slimmer than the RedMagic 11 Pro+. The new model will also move away from the boxier look of its predecessor. Instead, it will feature more rounded corners for a softer overall design.
nubia has also redesigned the shoulder-trigger buttons on the gaming phone. The new triggers feature a more rounded shape than those on the RedMagic 11 Pro+. The company shared side-by-side images to highlight the differences between both models. These images show changes across the phone’s frame and gaming controls.
The RedMagic 12 Pro+ will also feature slim, uniform 0.96mm bezels around its display. This should give the gaming phone a cleaner look while maximizing screen space. nubia has not revealed the full specifications of the RedMagic 12 Pro+ yet. However, more details are expected to be announced in the coming days ahead of its October launch.
