Redmi Unveils K90 Pro Max with Massive 7,560 mAh Battery
Redmi is gearing up to launch the K90 Pro Max on October 23, and excitement is already building. After teasing the phone’s design earlier this week, the company has now confirmed its core specifications, revealing a powerful flagship ready to compete with the best in the market.
The upcoming K90 Pro Max packs a massive 7,560 mAh battery, one of the largest ever in a Xiaomi Redmi device. It supports 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Redmi also confirmed full compatibility with 100W PPS chargers, ensuring faster and safer charging performance.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, coupled with a new AI-powered independent display chip, D2. To manage heat, Redmi has equipped it with Xiaomi’s largest vapor chamber, promising better thermal control during intensive gaming or multitasking.
On the front, the 6.9-inch OLED display features a full RGB sub-pixel layout for sharper visuals. It supports DC dimming across all brightness levels, includes a circular polarizer, and can be set to a minimum brightness of 1 nit for comfortable nighttime viewing.
According to the details, for photography, the K90 Pro Max features a 1/1.31-inch main camera sensor, the same as that used in the Xiaomi 17. It’s joined by a 50MP ultrawide lens and Redmi’s first periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, 10x lossless zoom, and optical image stabilization (OIS) for clearer long-range shots.
