While defending 182 runs, West Indies restricted the opposition to 147, with Romario Shepherd taking a superb five wicket haul for 24, including a hat-trick.
Shepherd achieved the milestone in the 17th over of the second innings, dismissing Matthew Cross, Michael Leask, and Oliver Davidson in successive deliveries.
With this feat, the right arm medium fast bowler became the first West Indian cricketer to register a hat-trick in the T20 World Cup, joining an elite list of players.
