Rs. 210 Million Worth of Smuggled Luxury Vehicles Seized in Quetta Operation

Quetta Customs has intensified its ant smuggling crackdown across Balochistan, confiscating three high value non-customs paid (NCP) vehicles worth Rs. 210 million, marking one of its strongest enforcement actions of the month. The operation, supported by law enforcement agencies, highlights Pakistan’s renewed push to curb the flow of luxury smuggled vehicles entering the country.

According to officials, the enforcement team intercepted two bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser V8s and one Lexus 450h, all of which were being transported without customs clearance. These luxury SUVs are among the most frequently smuggled vehicles into the region due to their high resale value and tax avoidance margins.

An official source familiar with the operation said the vehicles were seized after a targeted intelligence based action.

“These enforcement drives reflect our uncompromising stance against smuggling and the illegal movement of high-value goods,” the FBR spokesperson stated after the seizure.

The vehicles have now been shifted to the Customs warehouse, where formal proceedings under the Customs Act, 1969 have begun.
