Rs750 Prize Bond Draw Announced, First Prize Winner Claims Rs1.5 Million

The much-anticipated Rs750 prize bond draw was held on Tuesday in Peshawar, where lucky bondholders secured life-changing cash prizes. According to the official results issued by National Savings Pakistan, bond number 261227 won the first prize of Rs1,500,000.
The second prize of Rs500,000 each was awarded to the following bond numbers: 413549, 992747, and 204763. In addition, 1696 winners walked away with the third prize of Rs9,300 each.
Prize bonds continue to serve as a popular investment vehicle in Pakistan, combining the security of savings with the allure of significant rewards. Managed by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) under the State Bank of Pakistan, the scheme has been operational since the 1960s. Despite long odds, the impressive prize structure attracts many investors seeking a risk-free and potentially lucrative savings method.
As per the State Bank of Pakistan’s tax policy, a 15% withholding tax applies to prize winnings for registered tax filers, while non-filers are subject to a 30% tax deduction on their prize money.
The next draw for the Rs750 prize bond is scheduled to take place on July 15, 2025, in Rawalpindi.
