Sahibzada Farhan rose to the top of the T20 World Cup 2026 run-scoring charts after producing a magnificent century in the crucial final group-stage match against Namibia in Colombo.

The right-handed batter scored 100 runs off just 58 balls, hitting 11 fours and four sixes to propel the Green Shirts to an imposing total of 200 in the final group match.

With this knock, Farhan now leads the tournament run-scorers list, accumulating 220 runs in four innings at an average of 73.33 and a strike rate of 164.17, including a fifty and century.

Farhan became the third batter in the ongoing tournament to score a century, joining Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka and Canada’s Yuvraj Samra on the list of elite performers.

He also became only the second Pakistani to hit a T20 World Cup century, following Ahmed Shahzad, who scored a hundred against Bangladesh in the 2014 edition of the tournament.

Pakistan started cautiously, scoring only 47 runs in the Powerplay as Namibia bowled tight lines, but Farhan and Salman Agha quickly accelerated the scoring through aggressive.

Despite the early dismissal of Saim Ayub, Farhan anchored the innings while Agha contributed 38 off 23 balls before departing, ensuring Pakistan maintained control and momentum throughout the innings.

Shadab Khan rotated effectively at the crease as Pakistan adjusted their middle order, with Babar Azam temporarily dropped to maintain tactical flexibility in the team’s batting structure.

Shadab Khan scored 36 runs off 22 balls, including three sixes and one four, while Khawaja Nafay added five, helping Pakistan finish on a competitive 199 for three at innings end.
