Samsung may be pushing back the launch of its upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup, according to a new report. Earlier rumors hinted that the company would unveil the Galaxy S series in March 2026 instead of the usual January launch window, and the latest update appears to confirm that shift.
The report suggests that Samsung has delayed the mass production of its Galaxy S26 models. Production of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is now expected to begin in December, while the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are scheduled for January.
Initially, Samsung had planned to start producing all three models in December. However, sources claim that the timeline was disrupted after the company reportedly canceled development of the Galaxy S26 Edge variant. This change has forced Samsung to focus on completing the Galaxy S26+, which could take another month or two.
According to the source, development work on the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra has already been completed, the report adds. As a result, the Ultra will enter production first, followed by the standard Galaxy S26 and then the Galaxy S26+.
This staggered production schedule likely means Samsung’s next flagship lineup will arrive later than usual. If the timeline holds, fans may have to wait until March 2026 to see the Galaxy S26 series officially launched.
