A new report from South Korea has just leaked the complete launch timeline for the Samsung G S25 Edge, confirming earlier rumors and giving fans plenty to look forward to.
According to the report, Samsung will officially unveil the S25 Edge at its Galaxy Unpacked event on May 13.
Pre-orders will open on May 14, with the first wave of sales starting May 23, but only in Korea and China. The global release, including in the US and other key markets, is scheduled for May 30, just over two weeks later.
To sweeten the deal, Samsung is reportedly offering 512GB of storage for the price of 256GB to customers who pre-order early. These will be the only two storage variants available at launch.
The leaked details also confirm that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is being positioned to compete directly with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air, expected in September. The S25 Edge will sit between the S25+ and S25 Ultra in both specs and pricing.
Specs-wise, the phone will feature the same screen as the S25+, a 200 MP main camera, an ultrawide lens, and no telephoto sensor. It will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and come equipped with the smallest battery of the S25 lineup, making it a slim and fast daily driver.
The Samsung G S25 Edge leak has stirred excitement, especially for global users now assured of a May launch. Whether it can stand out in a competitive mid-premium market remains to be seen, but Samsung’s strategic timing suggests it’s ready to take on the next iPhone head-on.
