Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Leaks Reveal Key Specs And Expected Launch Date

Samsung has once again captured the attention of tech enthusiasts with its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, a highly anticipated addition to its 2025 flagship series.

First hinted at during the launch of the Galaxy S25 in January, the company has yet to confirm an official release date. However, there have been strong indications that the device will be available in the coming months.

Leaks and Rumors Uncover New Details

While Samsung has remained tight-lipped about the specifics, a steady stream of leaks and speculations from unofficial sources has provided insight into the device’s design, weight, and pricing. The latest leak, shared by a well-known tipster on X, sheds light on the Galaxy S25 Edge’s dimensions.

According to the leaked details, the device will weigh 162g identical to the standard Galaxy S25 model. It is also set to feature an ultra-slim profile, measuring just 5.84mm in thickness. Previously leaked images have already highlighted its remarkably thin design, which is expected to be one of the phone’s defining characteristics.

A High-End Offering with a Premium Price

Unlike Samsung’s more budget-friendly Fan Edition models, the Galaxy S25 Edge is being positioned as a premium device. This means it will come with a higher price tag. Reports suggest that its cost will be similar to that of the Galaxy S25+, which starts at $999 in the US.

Although both models are rumored to share many internal specifications, the Galaxy S25+ is expected to feature a superior camera setup, while the Galaxy S25 Edge will stand out due to its ultra-thin form factor.

Expected Launch Timeline and Availability

Samsung has not officially confirmed the release timeline, but recent industry reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Edge could be unveiled on April 16, with sales expected to commence by May 2025. However, production is rumored to be limited to just 40,000 units initially, meaning availability might be restricted to select markets due to supply constraints.

As anticipation continues to build, the Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s most exciting premium offerings of the year. With its sleek design and flagship features, it is expected to be a standout in the brand’s 2025 smartphone lineup.
