Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launch Date Officially Confirmed

Published by

Samsung has set a date for its next flagship reveal. The company confirmed that the Galaxy S26 series will debut on February 25 at a Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco. The launch will be livestreamed on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel, giving global audiences a front-row seat.

The upcoming lineup is expected to include three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. At the same time, Samsung has opened pre-reservations for the new phones. Customers can visit the official website, pay a small fee, and secure early access to the Galaxy S26 series.

Although the official launch is days away, most key details have already leaked. As a result, we already have a clear picture of what Samsung plans to offer this year.

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will run on the Exynos 2600 SoC in most regions. Both phones will keep the same screen sizes as their predecessors. Samsung will pair them with 12GB of RAM. The standard Galaxy S26 will feature a 4,300mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26+ will continue with a 4,900mAh battery, similar to the current S25+. Reports suggest that the rear camera hardware on both models will remain unchanged.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra, however, takes a different route. It will use a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. Samsung will equip it with a 5,000mAh battery. The device will support up to 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. While the camera resolutions are expected to stay the same, the lenses may feature larger apertures to improve light capture.
