Educational institutions across Punjab will reopen on April 1 following a two-week closure, bringing students back to classrooms across the province.
According to officials, both public and private schools will restart academic activities simultaneously. The break had put studies on hold, but authorities say efforts will now focus on keeping the academic schedule on track.
The province had suspended academic activities from March 10 to March 31 as part of measures to cut fuel consumption during a period of rising petroleum prices linked to regional tensions.
Officials have made it clear that there will be no shift to online or hybrid learning, stressing that students must return to classrooms for regular instruction.
Parents and students have been advised to follow official updates and ignore unverified notifications circulating on social media.
