The Punjab School Education Department (SED) has announced 13 new job opportunities under its Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU).
The vacancies have been announced as part of an Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded education program aimed at improving secondary education across Punjab. The initiative focuses on STEM education, school facilities, gender inclusion, and climate resilience.
The department is hiring candidates for several specialist and administrative positions. These include Digital Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, STEM/STEAM Specialist, Procurement and Contracts Management Specialist, Capacity Development Specialist, IT Specialist, and Environment and Climate Specialist.
Other vacancies include Social Safeguard Specialist and Gender Specialist at PPS-10, while two positions are available for Technical Coordinator at PPS-09.
The department has also announced vacancies for Database Analyst and Admin Officer at PPS-08, along with one Procurement Assistant position at PPS-07.
Most specialist positions require a master’s degree or 16 years of education in a relevant field, along with professional experience.
Candidates applying for most PPS-10 positions are required to have at least five years of relevant experience, while some positions require experience working on donor-funded projects.
The Technical Coordinator position requires at least four years of relevant experience, with the maximum age limit set at 45 years.
Database Analyst and Admin Officer applicants must have at least three years of relevant experience and be no older than 45 years.
The Procurement Assistant position also requires three years of relevant experience, with a maximum age limit of 40 years. The maximum age limit for most PPS-10 specialist positions is 50 years.
