The newly added franchise Sialkot Stallionz have expanded their squad to 19 players for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 season after signing three local cricketers.

The Stallionz confirmed that Mohammad Shahzad, Arshad Iqbal, and Nisar Khan have each signed contracts worth Rs6 million and will represent the franchise in the forthcoming edition.

In an official statement, the Sialkot-based franchise said the inclusion of the three players would strengthen both their batting and bowling departments ahead of their first-ever campaign.

“The inclusion of these players will further strengthen the team’s batting and bowling departments,” the franchise wrote on social media.

The announcement came a day after the first-ever PSL player auction, held at the Expo Centre in Lahore, where the Stallionz secured 11 players to reinforce their squad.

Among their auction picks were Pakistan T20I captain Sahibzada Farhan, Australian cricketers Ashton Turner and Peter Siddle, and South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi.
