The Government of Sindh has revised the schedule for the upcoming Class 9 and Class 10 board examinations across the province, shifting the start dates to early April.
According to the updated timetable, Class 10 examinations will now begin on April 7, while Class 9 examinations will commence on April 8. The revised dates will apply to all educational boards operating under the provincial government in Sindh.
The decision follows directives from the Universities and Boards Department instructing boards not to conduct examinations during the Christian observance of Holy Week and Easter.
Earlier, authorities had ordered that no exam papers be scheduled between April 2 and April 6, requiring all boards to amend previously issued timetables accordingly.
The annual matriculation examinations were originally scheduled to start on March 31, but the new directive prompted boards to reschedule exams to avoid the restricted period.
