SNGPL Announces New Winter Gas Schedule for Punjab & KP: December-February Timings

Amid rising winter demand, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a revised three-time gas supply schedule for households in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, effective from December to February. The new plan ensures fixed hours for domestic users, while industries have been assured uninterrupted supply.

SNGPL reviewed consumption patterns across both provinces after pressure on the system increased due to falling temperatures. Officials said the step was taken to ensure fair and reliable supply for households during peak winter months. The company advised consumers to adjust their cooking schedules according to the allocated timings.

From the meeting visuals and internal briefing, an SNGPL official stated,

“Gas demand has touched seasonal highs, but the system remains stable. Households are requested to use the commodity responsibly.”
