State Bank Declares Bank Holiday on 1st Ramadan

Published by

The State Bank of Pakistan has declared that all banks, DFIs, and MFBs will remain closed for public dealings on 1st Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, 1447 A.H., observed as a Bank Holiday for Zakat deduction purposes.

While public transactions will be suspended, all bank employees are required to attend the office and treat the day as a normal working day, except for public-facing services. This ensures internal operations continue smoothly despite the holiday for customers.
