Supreme Court Launches Public Facilitation Portal for Citizens

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has launched a new Public Facilitation Portal to make it easier for citizens to access judicial information, track case progress, and file complaints online, according to an official statement.

The Public Facilitation Portal, available on the Supreme Court’s official website, provides a user-friendly platform for citizens to obtain case details, monitor application statuses, and submit online complaints. The portal is designed to enhance transparency and public engagement with the judicial system.

Through the Application Status section, users can follow the progress of requests related to early hearings, adjournments, and video-link appearances. The court added that information and assistance can also be obtained directly by contacting the 1818 helpline.

Supreme Court Launches Overseas Portal for Pakistanis Abroad

To support overseas Pakistanis, the Supreme Court has also introduced an Overseas Portal that allows citizens living abroad to stay connected to their ongoing court proceedings. This initiative ensures that Pakistani nationals outside the country can remain informed and engaged with their cases.

Additionally, the Supreme Court has rolled out a Feedback Portal to promote public participation and strengthen judicial accountability. It allows users to share suggestions and feedback on court services and digital operations.

In another step toward improving transparency, the court has implemented an Anti-Corruption Reporting Mechanism that enables citizens to lodge confidential complaints against misconduct or corruption within the system.

The launch of the Public Facilitation Portal marks a significant move toward digital transformation within Pakistan’s judiciary, offering greater accessibility, convenience, and transparency for both local and overseas citizens.
