Suzuki Pakistan Teases Launch of New SUV at PAPS 2025

Suzuki Pakistan has teased the launch of a new SUV ahead of the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025, sparking excitement among car lovers. The company shared a teaser video hinting at a new model, possibly the Suzuki Fronx, which could mark its first locally-built crossover SUV in Pakistan.

Suzuki has traditionally focused on compact cars and hatchbacks in Pakistan. Introducing a completely new SUV model would be a significant milestone, aligning with global trends toward crossover SUVs and modern automotive technology. Reports have suggested Suzuki has been preparing to assemble the Fronx domestically to cater to rising local demand.

Suzuki posted a teaser on X (formerly Twitter) and its official website with the tagline:

“Where innovation meets the spotlight. At PAPS 2025.”

Based on the teaser’s design cues, many speculate the new SUV could be the Suzuki Fronx, featuring curves and headlamp styling consistent with international models.

  • If launched, it would become Suzuki’s first crossover SUV built in Pakistan.

International Specs (Potential Reference for Local Model):

  • Engine: 1.5L mild-hybrid producing 102 hp and 137 Nm torque
  • Transmission: 5-speed manual or automatic
  • Features: Head-up display, wireless charging, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, digital climate control, six airbags, hill-hold control, 360-degree camera, traction control

“This teaser signals Suzuki’s commitment to innovation and expanding its SUV offerings for Pakistani customers,” said automotive industry analyst.

The PAPS 2025 will run from November 14–16, 2025, at the Karachi Expo Centre, where Suzuki is expected to reveal more details about the SUV’s local specifications and official launch.
