Ten passengers were injured when two Metro buses collided at Azadi Station in Lahore.
According to Rescue officials, the accident occurred near Shahdara. Nine of the injured sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment at the scene. One passenger was shifted to hospital.
General Manager Operations Uzair Shah said an inquiry into the incident is under way. The driver found at fault will be suspended, he added.
Separately, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated new electric buses in Gujranwala and inspected the Metro Bus route. She set March as the deadline for completing the project.
She also visited the site of the new cardiology hospital in Gujranwala, which will have a capacity of 268 beds.
