Indus Motor Company (IMC) has increased freight charges, with Toyota buyers in northern regions paying as much as PKR 296,000 extra depending on the vehicle model.
The revised charges follow a surge in petrol prices, now around PKR 520 per litre, sharply raising transportation and logistics costs for vehicle deliveries.
Updated freight rates vary by location, with Corolla, Cross, and Yaris buyers in Karachi paying PKR 30,000, while northern buyers face PKR 125,000 additional charges.
Fortuner, Hiace, and Camry models now carry PKR 37,000 charges in Karachi, rising to PKR 148,000 in northern regions, reflecting the steep increase in delivery costs.
