Toyota has reduced the prices of its locally manufactured Corolla Cross hybrid variants following the government’s decision to lower the sales tax on hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc.
The Corolla Cross HEV X is now priced at Rs. 9.729 million after a reduction of Rs. 570,000. The regular Corolla Cross HEV has received a Rs. 550,000 price cut, bringing its price down to Rs. 9.299 million.
According to Toyota’s latest notification, the revised prices are applicable on an ex-factory Karachi basis and took effect from September 13, 2026.

Toyota had previously increased the prices of both variants in July after the sales tax on locally manufactured HEVs was raised from 8.5% to 25% effective July 1. The tax increase pushed the Corolla Cross HEV X to Rs. 10.299 million and the Corolla Cross HEV to Rs. 9.849 million.
The government subsequently reduced the sales tax to 18% for locally manufactured hybrid vehicles with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc. Following the tax relief, several automakers have revised their prices, with Toyota now passing on the reduction to its Corolla Cross hybrid models.
