Traffic Police Issue Strict Advisory on Violations in Shaheed Benazirabad

The Traffic Police Shaheed Benazirabad have issued a strong public advisory warning motorists that strict enforcement of traffic laws is underway to improve road safety. Authorities said violations will attract heavy fines and legal action, urging citizens to follow rules to protect lives and ensure smooth traffic flow.
Officials said the advisory comes amid growing concerns over road accidents caused by negligence, underage driving, and non-compliance with basic safety measures. Traffic police have intensified monitoring to discourage risky behaviour and promote responsible driving across the district.
According to traffic police, overloading of public transport, driving without a valid licence, route permit, or fitness certificate has been declared a serious offence. Motorcyclists without helmets and car drivers not wearing seat belts will face fines, while guardians of underage drivers may also face legal action. Overspeeding, wrong-side driving, mobile phone use while driving, tinted windows, fancy number plates, pressure horns, unauthorized emergency lights, illegal parking, and road encroachments have all been listed as punishable violations.
A traffic police spokesperson said the goal is not just enforcement but prevention, adding that
“strict compliance with traffic laws is essential to reduce accidents and save lives.”
