Vivo could soon expand its S-series lineup with the S2 FE. A new leak has revealed several details about the upcoming phone. The information also includes two images of the device. The leak comes from a tipster on X, but the source has limited experience with accurate leaks. Therefore, these details should be treated with caution. Still, the reported specifications give us an early look at the S2 FE.
The phone’s biggest highlight could be its massive 10,000mAh battery. It is also expected to support 44W wired charging. This would give the S2 FE a much larger battery than most phones in its class. The S2 FE is also said to share several features with the regular S2. It could feature a 6.83-inch “1.5K” AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also reportedly included.
For photography, the phone may use a 50MP main rear camera. A 32MP front camera is also expected for selfies and video calls. These camera specifications would keep the S2 FE close to the standard S2. However, the chipset is expected to be different. The S2 FE could use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e. In comparison, the S2 uses the Dimensity 7360 Turbo.
The leaked pricing could also make the phone an interesting option. The vivo S2 FE is reportedly expected to cost around $416. However, the company has not confirmed the price. According to the same leak, Vivo could launch the S2 FE alongside the V80 on October 6. The company has yet to officially confirm the launch date or specifications.
