Vivo has quietly refreshed its V60 Lite, bringing a subtle but notable upgrade to the series. First launched in September last year, the Vivo V60 Lite now returns with a new model, V2549, spotted in Panama. The standout change is the introduction of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, replacing the older Snapdragon 685.
Aside from the new processor, the phone retains the core features that made the V60 Lite appealing. It sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Selfie lovers get a 32MP front camera, while security comes via an optical under-display fingerprint sensor.
The rear cameras remain unchanged, featuring a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. Powering the device is a 6,500 mAh battery, compatible with 90W wired charging and 6W reverse wired charging. This ensures fast top-ups and the ability to charge other devices on the go.
Running on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, the V60 Lite also offers IP65 ingress protection. In Panama, it appears in black and blue color options, though Vivo has not yet shared pricing or availability details.
With the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 onboard, the refreshed V60 Lite is positioned as a practical mid-range option. Familiar features while subtly boosting performance, offering a familiar experience with improved efficiency.
