Vivo has unveiled the V70 Elite, its most powerful midrange phone yet, promising significant upgrades over previous Vivo V-series models. With flagship-level hardware, the device is designed for users who want speed, battery life, and versatile cameras without spending top-tier prices.
At the heart of the V70 Elite is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. This combination ensures smooth multitasking, fast app launches, and high-end gaming performance.
The phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Peak local brightness reaches 5,000 nits, and users get a 32MP selfie camera and an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.
On the back, vivo equips the V70 Elite with a triple-camera setup. The main 50MP sensor (23mm equivalent) uses Sony’s LYT-700V 1/1.56″ sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization. A 50MP telephoto lens (73mm) with a 1/1.95″ IMX882 sensor offers 3x optical zoom and OIS, while an 8MP ultrawide camera covers a 15mm equivalent field of view.
The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. vivo promises four major OS updates and six years of security patches, offering long-term software support. A 6,500mAh Si-C battery powers the device, and 90W wired charging ensures quick top-ups. The V70 Elite also meets IP68 and IP69 standards for dust and water resistance.
Vivo will sell the V70 Elite in Black, Red, and Sand Beige. The 8/256GB version starts at INR 51,999 ($571), while the 12/512GB model is priced at INR 61,999 ($681). Open sales in India begin on February 26, though availability in other global markets has not yet been confirmed.
