vivo X300 Max Moves Closer to Launch After China Certification

Published by

Vivo appears ready to grow its X300 lineup with two new models, the X300 Ultra and the X300 Max. Earlier reports referred to the Max variant as the X300s. While Vivo has not made anything official, fresh certifications in China suggest the X300 Max is getting closer to launch.

The upcoming phone carries the model number V2548A. It recently cleared multiple Chinese regulatory agencies, which often signals that a release is not far away. At the same time, a well-known tipster shared key hardware details, offering a clearer picture of what to expect.

According to the leak, the vivo X300 Max will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC. That chipset should place the device firmly in flagship territory. Moreover, the phone is said to pack a battery with a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh. It will also support 90W fast charging, which could help offset the large battery size with quicker top-ups.

On the front, Vivo may use a 6.78-inch flat LTPO display with 1.5K resolution. The screen will reportedly support adaptive refresh rate technology. In addition, Vivo is expected to embed a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display for biometric authentication. This setup should deliver faster and more accurate unlocking.

Camera hardware could be one of the X300 Max’s biggest highlights. The device is tipped to feature a 200MP primary camera. It may also include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with telephoto macro support. As a result, users could get detailed zoom shots along with close-up photography from the same sensor.

The source also mentioned a new ZEISS lens system, which hints at continued collaboration between vivo and the optics brand. Beyond imaging, the phone is expected to support the N79 band. Furthermore, it may arrive with both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust and water.
