Vivo X300 Ultra Set for Global Launch with Dual 200MP Cameras

Vivo appears ready to break its long tradition of keeping the Ultra variant of its X series exclusive to China. Evidence now suggests that the upcoming vivo X300 Ultra could see a global release later this year.

A recent leak hints at an international version of the device. The phone appears under the model number V2562, which doesn’t align with Vivo’s usual naming system for Chinese models. This signals that Vivo may finally bring its top-tier Ultra variant to markets outside China.

This development is exciting for global users who previously only had access to the standard and Pro versions of the X series. The Ultra model, known for pushing camera innovation, never made it beyond Chinese shelves before.

And the timing couldn’t be better. Reports suggest the vivo X300 Ultra will be a camera powerhouse, potentially debuting as the first smartphone with two 200MP sensors. The handset is rumored to use Sony’s new 200MP sensors for both its main and telephoto cameras, promising an exceptional photography experience.
