Vivo has expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the Y19s 5G. The new device appears to be a refined version of the Y19 5G, which debuted earlier this year.
The vivo Y19s 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also supports storage expansion through a microSD card slot, making it suitable for users who need extra space.
Up front, the phone features a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits of peak brightness. For selfies and video calls, it includes a 5MP front camera housed in a notch, while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner ensures quick unlocking.
On the back, the Y19s sports a dual-camera setup led by a 13MP primary sensor, accompanied by a secondary depth sensor for portrait shots.
Powering the device is a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. The phone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, offering extra durability for everyday use.
According to the source, the Y19s 5G runs on Android 15-based FunTouchOS 15 and comes with select AI features for better performance and user experience. It weighs 199 grams and supports dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
The smartphone will be available in two color options, Majestic Green and Titanium Silver. However, vivo has yet to confirm the global launch date for the Y19s 5G.
