Whatsapp To Introduce Meta Ai Screen Letting Users Control Chatbot With Voice Commands

WhatsApp is set to enhance user-chatbot interactions with the introduction of a dedicated Meta AI screen in an upcoming update for Android (version 2.25.5.22). This feature aims to streamline the way users engage with the Meta AI chatbot, offering more intuitive and efficient communication options.

Key Features of the Meta AI Screen

  • Voice Command Activation: Users must perform a long-tap on the floating action button that exists within the chat list to activate Voice Command. Users can immediately begin voice commands through the channel button that bypasses the requirement of opening chat interfaces to work with the chatbot.
  • Privacy Controls: When users enable privacy controls in this device, the Meta AI system is deactivated until they manually activate the dedicated screen. The Android operating system displays a status bar privacy signal that alerts users when Meta AI listens to their commands or queries.
  • Seamless Interaction: Users may have better chatbot interactions with the new UI, which starts its listening function immediately after launching the dedicated viewing panel.
  • Customizable Voice Settings: The Meta AI panel provides a direct opportunity for users to customise chatbot speech settings, reducing the need to navigate various menus.

The update reflects WhatsApp’s dedication to mix advanced AI features with user privacy protection and control ownership. The system aims to improve customer satisfaction during chatbot operations by upgrading the UI and adding new features.

Meta is still working on the dedicated Meta AI interface, which will be available to Android users via future software upgrades. Users must keep current apps since this version contains new features and planned upgrades.
