David Warner will arrive in Karachi on 9 April afternoon, ensuring full participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 despite facing drink-driving charges in Sydney.
The 39-year-old batter was released from police custody the same day, with a court hearing scheduled for 7 May, avoiding immediate disruption to PSL commitments.
The left-handed batter, who is leading Karachi Kings, was charged after allegedly recording a blood alcohol level of 0.104, more than twice the legal limit in Sydney.
Police said Warner stopped his van near a random breath testing site in Maroubra, where officers conducted a roadside test returning a positive result.
The experienced cricketer was taken to Maroubra Police Station, where a second test confirmed the reading of 0.104, exceeding the legal limit of 0.05.
Warner has been issued a Field Court Attendance Notice and is scheduled to appear before Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney on 7 May 2026.
The experienced left-hander, a veteran of 112 Tests, remains expected to lead Karachi Kings throughout PSL 11, with his arrival confirmed for 9 April afternoon.
