In a move following the launch of Grok 3 by Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, X has significantly raised the price of its Premium+ subscription plan, which provides users with access to the latest AI model. The new monthly subscription fee for Premium+ membership in the United States is $50 per month or $350 for an annual subscription.

X Increases Premium Subscription Prices Following Release Of Grok 3 By Xai

The pricing increase is the second such adjustment to occur within this brief timeframe. Month by month, X raised the prices of the Premium+ plan from $16 to $22 in December. Premium+ subscribers will now be spending more than 200 percent of their original monthly fee on the service.

XAI has introduced a supplementary pricing plan known as SuperGrok through its Grok app. This plan offers users the ability to conduct extensive searches and utilise reasoning systems. Grok 3 capabilities on the SuperGrok tier are still restricted, which means that Premium+ plan users will not have complete access to all features.

The price structure of X continues to display discrepancies in figures when analysed across various digital channels. Users can locate the monthly Premium+ subscription cost of $50 on the support site. However, the sign-up page indicates that the subscription is $48.40 before the check-out process, which indicates that it is $40 per month.

The price variations highlight ongoing discrepancies in X’s subscription offerings, even as it continues to expand its AI-powered services through xAI’s latest developments.
