Xiaomi 17

Xiaomi’s next flagship appears to be gearing up for a wider release, even though the company has not shared any official plans. A reliable tipster has now suggested when the Xiaomi 17 might finally leave China, giving global fans a clearer idea of what to expect.

The Xiaomi 17, first introduced in China in September, is now rumored to launch globally in January 2026. The same timeline is also expected for India, which remains one of Xiaomi’s most important markets. Although the company has stayed silent, the growing number of listings and leaks hints at an approaching rollout.

A new device with the model number 25113PN0EC has surfaced on Geekbench, and it is believed to be the global Xiaomi 17. The listing shows the phone running Android 16 with 12GB of RAM. It also appears to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device posted a single-core score of 3,176 and a multi-core score of 10,010, which reflects strong flagship performance.

If Xiaomi keeps the hardware unchanged for global markets, the Xiaomi 17 will ship with a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes three 50MP sensors on the back and a 50MP selfie camera. The phone also features a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

While Xiaomi has yet to make anything official, the activity around the device suggests that the global Xiaomi 17 is getting closer to launch.
