Xiaomi 17 Ultra Launch Confirmed With Triple Camera Setup and New Color

Xiaomi is moving quickly toward its next flagship launch, and the company has now removed most of the mystery. After teasing the Xiaomi 17 Ultra last week, the brand has confirmed its launch date, design, and color options ahead of the official debut.

In a post shared on Weibo, Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will launch in China on December 25. Alongside the announcement, the company revealed the phone’s rear design and officially showcased its available colors.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will arrive in three color options, including a new Starry Green finish. Xiaomi will also sell the device in white and black. The official teasers confirm a triple rear camera layout, reinforcing the phone’s flagship positioning.

Xiaomi says the Starry Green variant uses mineral particles on the rear panel to create a metallic look. The company also confirmed a flat display, segmented volume buttons, and an 8.29mm thick body. These design choices suggest a refined and premium build.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Reports suggest it will feature a 1-inch type main rear sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and upgraded Leica optics. Xiaomi is also expected to bring the handset to global markets in the coming months.
